Action Plan & Impact Review
Key Indicator & Intent | Funding Allocated | Actions Taken | Impact on Pupils | Sustainability (Next steps) |
Indicator 3: Increased confidence, knowledge, and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport. | £8,120 | Hired a specialist PE teacher/qualified sports coach to work alongside our classroom teachers when teaching PE. | Teachers report feeling significantly more confident delivering high-quality PE lessons. Pupil engagement during these sessions has noticeably increased. | Teachers will use the skills learned from working alongside the sports coach to teach future classes independently. |
Indicator 4: Broader experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupils. | £2,100 | Purchased Gold Membership of the Liverpool Schools Sports Partnership (LSSP). Partnered with tennis charity 'A Game Academy' for free weekly sessions. | Pupils gained access to new sports, expert coaching, and weekly specialized tennis tuition, significantly broadening their sporting horizons and skillsets. | Continued investment in varied partnerships and maintaining our strong relationship with A Game Academy to ensure diverse offerings. |
Indicator 1: The engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity. | £2215.65 | Ordered new, high-quality PE equipment to support the curriculum and active play. | Children are more active at break times, and PE lessons now have enough high-quality equipment for every child to participate fully. | Equipment is regularly audited and safely stored to ensure longevity. |
Indicator 5: Increased participation in competitive sport. | £2,794.35 | Attended 4+ more sporting events than any other previous year, competing in School Games, Co-op Academy trust events, and events with other SEN schools. | Giving significantly more pupils the chance to represent the school boosted their teamwork, self-esteem, and resilience. | Aim to sustain this high level of competition entry and continue building strong relationships with trust and SEN schools. |
